SOUL SHINE WORKSHOP

Invite, in a more complete and profound way, the Holy Guardian of your Soul, Mother Mary, into your life. Through Ritual, Meditation, and Prayer, we will open ourselves to receive Grace. We will make a pilgrimage to Mother Mary’s Shrine and Home.  With Her blessings, and through Margot’s meditations to awaken our Inner Feminine Energy, we will be empowered to re-discover and reconnect to the roots of the Divine Feminine inside of us. Allow Mother Mary to reveal the divine qualities of the awakened feminine in your life.  With the guidance of Margot Anand (her birth name is Mary by the way!) we will tap into this powerful divine feminine energy, walking on the footsteps of thousands of years of pilgrimages which have started or ended in Mother Mary's home.  This deepening into our souls through the help of the most revered "Divine Mother” is beneficial for women (to know their sacred dimension more completely) and for men (to awaken in them to receptive, protective qualities) and for Women and Men, also moving beyond genders, to remember that the feminine is the one who teaches you about Love if you are awake and receptive to love as a portal to peace and harmony in the world.

We will set our intention and meditate on it at the beginning of this workshop, so as to open our souls directly to the source of blessed Feminine Energy.  We will call upon Mother Mary to grace us with insight and empowerment to access stabilized contentment in our daily life (one of the essential keys to spiritual awakening and actualization of peace in our life).  Time to allow our souls to shine, embody the divine presence shining through our souls, opening to the initiation of the Holy, in this powerful energy field. Supported by Gopal, they will guide you through an evening full of wonders, mystery, and joyful bliss.  We will also enjoy visiting UNESCO heritage world famous Ephesus Antique City. We will connect with the energy of the famous Temple of Artemis, one of the “Seven Wonders of the World,” which drew pilgrims from all around the Mediterranean.  This event is for everybody, even with no experience in Tantra and Meditation. Just come with curiosity, enthusiasm, and an open heart.

ABOUT THE HOUSE OF VIRGIN MARY

The House of the Virgin Mary is a Catholic shrine located on Mt. Koressos ( in the vicinity of Ephesus, 7 kilometers from Selçuk in Turkey. Catholic pilgrims visit the house based on the belief that Mary, the mother of Jesus, was taken to this stone house by Saint John and lived there for the remainder of her earthly life.  The shrine has merited several papal Apostolic Blessings and visits from several popes including Paul VI, John Paul II, and Benedict XVI.  Outside the shrine is a particular "wishing wall" which pilgrims have used by tying their personal intentions on paper or fabric. Various types of florals and fruits are grown nearby, and additional lighting has been installed within the vicinity of the shrine for further monitoring of the site. A water fountain or well is also located nearby, believed by some pilgrims to have miraculous powers of healing or fertility.

ABOUT EPHESUS ANTIQUE CITY

In the 5th century, the House of the Virgin Mary, a domed cruciform chapel seven kilometers from Ephesus, became a major place of Christian pilgrimage. The Ancient City of Ephesus is an outstanding example of a Roman port city, with a sea channel and harbor basin.  Many historians believe Saint John wrote his Gospel while in Ephesus, and when the Virgin Mary was dying, he took her to the green hills of Selcuk, above Ephesus and laid her to rest. Although unverified, the Roman Catholic Church watches over her shrine, receiving hundreds of visitors daily.  Ephesus was also one of seven revelation churches, as mentioned in the Bible’s New Testament.

ŞIRINCE - OUR LOCATION FOR SOUL SHINE

Our accommodation will take place in Şirince village (meaning the pretty, cute village) small cobbled streets, handcrafted local products, yummy olive oil, famous Turkish breakfast, Turkish coffee, Şirince Bazaar and more to discover.  The lush greenery of the natural setting of Şirince is complemented beautifully by the two-storey architecture of the buildings in the village. From afar the village looks like a painting, and its homes are as enchanting from afar as they are from up close.  The homes are connected through windy, cobbled streets that are narrow and make you feel like you're traveling back in time to a world before cars and modern industry.

SCHEDULE

The workshop will start on April 28th 10 am and end on April 30th 2023 noon. Workshop space is in a authentic theatre school called Stoa. We advise you to arrive to Sirince 27th or earlier if you want to enjoy this cute local village. For those who want to continue to the Passion of Life Festival there will be a bus transfer from the Sirince village to the airport, which is included in the price.

ACCOMODATION

Accommodation is not included. If you decide to stay in Stoa, where the workshop will take place, you can choose different types (single, double, 3 or 4 people rooms, breakfast , lunch and dinner included.) This venue has limited capacity for accommodation, yet a travel agency of our trust will help you to find a suitable place, as well as providing transport from the hotel. Depending on your budget we will propose alternatives starting from 50€ per person and up per night.
